[ She smiles, pressing a kiss to his neck. ]

What’d you pick up for dinner?

Lo mein? [ She pulls away a little, taking his hand and tugging him towards the kitchen. ]

Of course. [He lets himself be pulled along.]

Dumplings?

[ She lets go of his hand to start unpacking the food and opening the containers. ]

[ She smiles, plucking a dumpling from the box and munching on it as she spreads the food out. Turning to peck him on the cheek, she circles around him to grab them some plates. ]

[He'll do what he does best, sit in a chair at the table waiting to be served.]

[ Such a gentleman. She grabs a beer for him and a bottle of water for her from the fridge, setting both and the plates down before claiming the seat next to him. ]

You gonna be home this weekend?

[He grabs a spoon and starts to serve himself.]

[ She chews on her lip, watching him a second. ]

I invited Logan to come meet her.
